Cycling to Support Charities

6th February 2019

Ben, Dylan and John took part in a 12 hour cycle challenge in support of an Armed Forces Charity and are now ready for their next challenge in June.

Challenge 1. Armed Forces Charity

On Saturday 2nd February, Ben, Dylan and John cycled 12 hours continuously, supporting Sam Boatwright, who was doing The Wattbike 24-hour challenge at Sandylands Sports Centre. The MPM team cycled over 200 miles helping raise money for Sam’s charity - SSAFA - The Armed Forces Charity.

Sam went on to smash the challenge and peddled 488 miles beating the previous World Record by 18 miles. It was a good taster for the MPM team who are going to take on yet another cycling challenge in June.

Challenge 2. Manorlands Hospice

In June Ben, Dylan and John will cycle the Leeds to Liverpool canal, raising money for our Charity of the year: Sue Ryder’s Manorlands Hospice which provides palliative care, advice and support in our region.

Please help us to support this worthy cause, which is close to our hearts.
