Mr & Mrs Wilson from 1978

Aged 29, Brian Wilson set MPM up as a pattern shop.


MPM Van from 1980

MPM’s growth meant the requirement for the purchase of new premises, alongside a diversification into a DIY shop and Luxury bathrooms.


Mecanex Conservatory from 1992

Their middle son, Dylan, joins MPM followed shortly by Ben in 1993.


The Three MPM Brothers Take a Prominent Role in Running the Business in 2002

Syd, the youngest son joins the business and the brothers start to take a more prominent role in running the business.

Brian retires and the brothers start running the business alongside Alan. A move to larger premises takes place and Paul joins the business as Improvements advisor.

Syd, decides to move on to concentrate on his health.


A Devastating Fire Burns the MPM Factory Down to the Ground in 2018

MPM’s 40th anniversary year sees a devastating fire burn the factory to the ground. Just 9 days later MPM is back up and running in new premises, and the business re-brands.

Former director Syd sadly passes away and the brothers focus on ensuring Syd’s memory inspires them to continue their vision for the business. Investment in the working environment takes place inside and out improving capacity for continued growth. Alan Godden retires after 42 years of commitment and Loyalty. The blueprint for success is set and the future looks exciting for the whole team.
